there's evidence that refineries sold gas at narrower than normal margins during the last months of each election year. But that doesn't mean Bush had a direct role in that process. The Bush agenda is BIG corporation friendly and has no interest in collecting royalties, enforcing environmental regulations, etc. It's very likely the Corpos manipulate gas prices on their own in their own interest.
