I keep hoping... maybe I should go chew bubble gum instead of make myself crazy.

I decided to use "The Googles" new archive search engine to look at earlier Selections since Nov 1999....

and since 9/11 was of particular "quality to distract"; I focused on that.

By the way, this new Google tool is very nice, but once again, Google has lately taken to heavy handing the "editorial delete" button they control. They are obviously in bed with "the machine": (too bad, Google used to be pretty good)
