36. alito polled high majority no to appointment in early polling
the same with nsa,.... strong majority didnt like it. they have manipulated both these polls to show it flipped. but i have been following. so i am aware of this. i know the majority doesnt want alito in. so i know what kerry is doing is for the majority and that is always the good thing and that is the way democracy was meant to work. regardless of what the media says.

but to agree to this practice, without listening to the country as a whole will backfire, i believe. because that is not for the good of the public as a whole. what if it is something that a small minority is advocating. we give our leaders the false presentation it is what the majority of people THEY represent wants. and they go out there advocating for the minority. turning off the majority. i think it is a disservice. and i think it is setting them up. i cannot advocate that. i wnat our leaders to listen to us, respect us.... and i dont htink we will get that, if we abuse their trust. now if you feel strongly about something, i am all for calling representitive every day saying you believe so strongly, you nag, or as grumpy did, send email on the hour, asking.......one person over and over.

i just dont see it being effective.
