6. Some invalid assumptions here...
1) by "there own words" (I'll let the grammar thing slide) if you get a direct and properly translated transcript of the speech you are referring to, the Iranian President actually said something to the effect of --If Israel does not stop it's oppressive policies toward Palestine, the Palestinians will not rest until Israel is wiped off the face of the map. -- My source: Scott Ritter, former US marine and former Iraq weapons inspector.

2) "all parties refuse to talk" False. Armadinijiad (sinc) has made numerous efforts to reach out. It is Bush* that refuses to talk. To any party that would require the use of diplomacy. Anywhere.

3) "a ploy to incite Israel" -- That is possible. It does not seem to be uncommon in the current atmosphere in the M.E. That does not mean Iran, even an Iran with nuke technology, presents an imminent threat to the US. In fact, Iran is in full compliance with the global nuclear nonproliferation act. Are we?
