He's a Republican from a conservative state, so I think he would draw more R's than D's just like John Anderson did. Why wouldn't the 30%ers vote for him? Especially if pro-abortion Giuliani is part of the Republican ticket. I think the 30%ers support Bush, not because they are neo-cons, but because they are anti-abortion. My BiL in Nebraska thinks Hagel is a RINO though, Republican in Name Only. Which is funny to me, because a Nebraska Democrat like Bob Kerrey seemed like a DINO to me. Also strange that Hagel says the parties have been taken over by their extremes. Unless he is talking about both parties being taken over by their right wing, it makes no sense. Kinda funny that the M$M is pushing the whole 3rd party thing. Like either Hagel or Bloomberg are going to appeal to Democrats who don't like CEO.
