Reply #27: Not just words. Obama needs to follow through

Many people like the ones in this forum love that Obama is president, but not because he is an elequent speaker and charismatic, as the rethugs are trying to suggest over and over again, but because of his ideas. If he start disappointing them because he thinks that he can make "anything" happen, the tide can turn very quickly and it ain't gonna be pretty. While true, he did vote against FISA and still earned the Presidency, it took many people back and they were shocked and disappointed that he voted in favor of it. By taking it to the next level, you will see shock turn to anger. I think that Turley does speak for alot of people when he talks about how people are angry that he is not having the past administration held accountable and, in cases, extending their crimes. I think he is doing a great job, but I am not a Republican. I do not blindly stick with a leader for no other reason than the fact that he is the leader of my political party. Also, as a Democrat, I don't have the pleasure of having radio talk show hosts tell me that everything he does is 100% correct. The radio shows that I listen to do call him out when he does wrong. Right now, he has alot of love, I just hope he doesn't take it for granted.
