her political party has always believed that the people who caused the Great Depression were those best suited to fix it when it became profitable for them to do so. They have also steadfastly claimed that Social Security, public education, organized labor, child labor laws, the Marshall Plan, the G.I Bill, and universal health care among others, were just a conspiracy to reward unwashed slackers and defeated foes so they'd vote for the Democrats or compete against Wall Street economically.

They still hold that the lazy working classes would better serve their capitalist masters sweating 12 hour days, 6 days a week for just enough to put food on the table. And since Americans won't do it anymore, by golly gee, they've gone and found poor foreigners who will.
