I like how people like Bachman will discredit the New Deal but give every ounce of credit to WW2. Even though they both did the same thing; increase massive government spending and create jobs.

We entered WW2 in 41 but we saw unemployment drop since the early 30's because of the New Deal.

History (along with the industrialized world) proves their failed ideology wrong in every way, ere-go, you have talking heads like Bachman blatantly lie about it. I hate talking shit about how naive their voting base is but it's frustrating when you know all these people would have to do is open a history book to realize the politicians representing them are completely full of shit.

Oh and Sen. Reed SMOOT of Utah and Rep. Willis HAWLEY of Oregon were REPUBLICANS!!!!!, and the bill was signed into law by President HERBERT HOOVER!!!!!!

God. Bachman is either completely out of touch or just a shameless manipulator.
