who became fractured similar to the current Republican Party right before the civil war. Sometimes the ideas are so extreme and outdated and the party so fractured that they cease to be relevant and dissolve. America is at a crossroads. If that dinosaur ressurects itself it will be similar to how the whigs tried to do it and an implosion may result.
