19. the guy at the end seemed normal
a polar opposite to me politically speaking but reasonable and saying he would not get in another citizens face and that he was there protesting to try to influence how congress will vote, the right way, by peacefully protesting. I can deal with the fact that people have political opinions about 180 degrees different than mine so long as they stay cordial. Hell one of my best friends in the world whom I have been friends with since we were 13 (we are now 31) is a hard right republican/libertarian and I am a hard left socialist yet we both agree on some political issues, like that the wars are too expensive, that the usa is rich enough to have the best public health care in the world if only they would spend less on military and more on their own people (oddly more than a few people on the right i talk to support "socialized" things when you just say "spend money on americans not on people in Iraq"), and we both think that NAFTA was shit and that free trade in general is shit. We also both think that the people we vote for (me democrat in the USA, him repubican) dont give a damn about the majority of people who vote for them and just work for whichever corporations bribe them. We talk politics but when we notice that a voice starts rising we change the subject to talking about our kids, or sports, or fishing...
