I'm reasonably sure that my mother hasn't heard of Rachel or KO, either, since O'Reilly won't utter his name. *sigh* :eyes:

My mother's also isolated, had hip replacement and hasn't wanted to leave the house much, since. :-( Her constant companion is my creep of a brother who turns on FAUX News now, too, so she doesn't stand a chance. He'd vote for the devil, himself, if he thought it would piss me off. :grr:

She seems to have this irrational hatred of both Clintons, goes off at the TV whenever either of them are on. And that was fairly often when he was president and then she was our senator. :crazy:

She actually said that she liked Barack Obama, early on, which surprised me. But she voted for McCain in the primaries, so must have figured out that Obama is a Democrat... :eyes:

She voted for Bush* twice, thinks both of his parents walk on water. x( I once tried to point out to her that she actually doesn't agree with Bush* on much of anything, is pro-choice, has no issues with gay people (she knows that my childhood friend is gay...), really has no objection to stem cell research, either, since no children are "killed," is actually pretty socially liberal, but there's still no convincing her. She embraces all the Limbaugh-O'Reilly-Hannity hate speech, since she's angry, too, and has no exposure to the other side, either. :-(
