Where did you get the idea that because I don't think these cops beat up a pastor for shits/giggles, that I don't believe that any cop ever beat anyone up for shits and/or giggles? Why did you even bother to make that gratuitous leap? To suggest that oh, I'm some kinda meanie?

Now, you're asking me to believe this flaky guy's (and have a look at his flaky sermons) report. Sorry, I'd believe the fucking dog before I'd take this guy's word without a little more evidence.

You've just made the pastor, in your post, an expert on how dogs "alert." How is a guy going to see a dog, who isn't as high as the back of the trunk when standing, sit to alert on his trunk? Answer--he isn't going to see it. Unless he gets out of the car, which this guy didn't. He rolled up the windows (or wouldn't roll them down--that's not totally clear yet) and sat there in the middle of the road in his car. See, that's why the cops had to break the windows.

"Perhaps" there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. I'm simply not ready to convict the cops of being the bad guys quite yet--you go ahead and do that if you'd like, but I generally like to hear both sides first. Like I said, they've got better things to do than beat up on pastors for shits and/or giggles. The judge will sort it out, I'm sure.
