You might want to read the DU rules, just to be sure you're a good fit here. If you joined this forum based solely on a picture of Nazis you saw here, you might not fully appreciate, or be a bit surprised by, progressive values. See, we like the state for lots of things--social safety nets, like unemployment, social security, health care for the indigent, community care for the poor and aged, law enforcement so we might be safe in our homes, maintenance of roads and streetlights--that kind of thing. The state's not the enemy. The state is US.
