I am having a tough day.

Things are getting on my nerves, and I think my awareness that I have now of why this stuff gets on my nerves is making it worse. Christmas music blasting...I can't stand loud music like that. I was trying to bake at my parent's and completely screwed up the recipe because I couldn't concentrate because of the torturously loud Christmas music. The auditory sensitivity thing is just magnified today for some reason, badly. My Dad was sweeping the floor earlier and the 'siss, siss, siss' sound was driving me freaking INSANE. I mean, my nerves are just like on complete overload, I can feel the energy coming off everything...I know I am on a CNS overload right now and I just wanted to put it out there because it probably will not change until Tues. or Wed. at the earliest and I could end up having a major melt-down if it goes on too long and then regretting it. But this stuff is just adding up one by one, the sounds, the clutter, the disarray, the way the people around me are hyped up and acting weird because of the holiday...I feel so on edge, I guess is what I am saying. I do hope everyone has a Merry Christmas but I just wanted to put this out there in case the holidays are affecting anyone else like this.
