Tell me if this sounds familiar:

"It seems after reading so many of the reactions to the Iraq war.......that there are a bunch of people that seem to want this war to be a failure so that the Bush administration would be punished and a big.....SEE, I TOLD YOU SO.
I just feel like there are a lot of folk here want the war to fail."

The logical fallacy, of course, is deliberately interpreting a suspicion or belief as a wish.

"I believe the prisoners at Guantanamo were tortured" is not the same as "I hope the prisoners at Guantanamo were tortured."

Accusing anyone here of hoping that a woman was raped in order to score points in an argument is beyond disgusting, and probably not the best way to endear yourself to the community here.
