32. If something's in the Daily Mail, I'm afraid it's almost certainly wrong
Extremely right-wing and hate-filled (full of hate campaigns against asylum seekers, single parents, etc.); also they do have a vendetta against vaccinations.

TB vaccines aren't 100% effective by any means, and they do have unpleasant short-term side-effects, but they are better than nothing if you live somewhere where TB is a risk, especially in these days when there are so many antibiotic-resistant cases of TB. It is difficult nowadays to do a suitable study, because people are more likely to *get* the vaccination if they live somewhere where there is a risk of TB. Holland presumably doesn't have the vaccine because the TB rate is low, rather than the TB rate being low because/ in spite of people not getting the vaccine. If you live somewhere where TB isn't much of a risk, and don't plan to travel, then I would agree that it might not be worth getting the vaccine. But TB rates certainly went down after the vaccine was introduced.

There is little evidence that individual vaccines have fewer side-effects than one MMR vaccine; though I agree that people who wish to have individual vaccines should have the right to it.
