History has a way of summarizing people with a quote that encapsulates the popular perception of that individual. Julius Caesar has his, "veni, vidi, vici", Lincoln his "A house divided against itself cannot stand", etc.

For myself, it's:
"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."
