Has the absolute clusterfuck of trickle down economics with the states making up for federal shortfalls not been instructive enough in the last 6 years= in terms of a state's ability to do things vs the federal government?

Would it be ok for a wealthy state like NY or CA to have top notch universal health care while a poor state gets crap?

Do you not see problems arising if say one state bans abortion while the state next to it keeps it legal? If you don't, read up on fugitive slave laws preceding the Civil War.

I see nothing wrong with a strong social support system while encouraging rugged individualism.

Ron Paul sees the former as a hinderance to the latter and he is wrong.
