I never once had a Christian student able to answer a bible-related question, such as "What was Golgotha?" or "What are the ten commandments?" Even students who tried to answer essay questions by resorting to church-speak were always piteously ignorant of scripture, confusing it with the Declaration of Independence and Poor Richard's Almanac. If toting their bibles to school will get them to actually read what they say they believe, good. And if they bring it up in conversation and find that they are regularly getting shot down, and thus need to think more about the meaning of the verses they sling around so ineffectually, even better.
