77. I agree on that. It seems impossible

to have a real discussion in GD or GDP now. I am so tired of all the polls about candidates and discussion of candidates. It's important but there's a helluva lot going on that's being ignored by the obsession with 2008.

You'd probably appreciate a thread I posted in editorials regarding an essay by Ernest Partridge of Crisis Papers. It's about the dangers of complacency, of Dems assuming we'll win in 2008. I think he is on the money with this. . . Just look for my name in the Posted By column, it's the only thing I've posted there recently.
