Fallon flew combat sorties in the Nam

Patreaus graduated from the Point in '74 missing all the fun

Fallon staid in the Pilot community for quite a bit of his career, going out on deployments regularly

Patreaus served as a Staff Officer for most of his career

And yes he served in Bosnia before this mess, but curious minds want to know, where did David Patreaus earn his Bronze Star with a V Device? After all, he didn't spend that much time at actual, honest to goodness, tip of the spear, combat billets.
