82. Embarrassment By Association?
Well, I believe there is such a thing, transitory though it may be.

To the extent that the membership of DU is a (albeit liberal) microcosm of the human race, I can be both proud and embarrassed to be a part of either. I mean, GW and his cohort?

However, being a DUer is elective. And I've already considered punching my still-wet ticket when I've seen these Group-Think threads supporting the exercise of the same First Amendment rights to liberal ,that would be excoriated as something inappropriate if not illegal coming from conservative mouths.

I sometimes have to remind myself that I can no more take the blame for the dunderheaded than the credit for the greatest thinkers among us.
