10. Racism is not just a few bad apples. This ongoing nightmare

proves that. Racism exists throughout entire groups and populations. It is power that still exists, and can still ruin people's lives.

If you ever see someone here at DU claiming that racism is rare, or isolated to a few ignorant people, remember Jenna. The police, the prosecutor, the judge, a whole lot of students, and people throughout the town are not just a couple of bad apples. They are the town, and they are the law.
