12. Who Cares
I am tired of hearing Donald Trump comment on all the topics that are going on currently. Yes, I believe in freedom of speech and that Trump has a right to provide his opinion, but I wonder why so many media outlets are going to Donald Trump to ask his opinion about the topics of the day. I contend Trump should pay more attention to his companies that do not always seem to perform well. His companies are the main reason I do not think the media should be asking him about the topics of the day. If his companies did not seem to go bankrupt all the time I would think it is okay to ask him about the things that are happening; however, he does not seem to be that good of a business man. I just feel the media forces him on the country. I feel like the media has made him into this great business man when he is not really that good of a business man. Therefore, I do not see why he should be on tv that much. However, I guess his opinion is just as valid as anyone else.

However, I contend Trump is incorrect on this issue. Yes, Dan Rather has low rating in comparison to the three nightly news show, but in comparison to some other news show his rating were pretty good. During the time Rather hosted CBS Nightly News the show had about 4 million viewers. I do not know the number of viewers for ABC World News Tonight. NBC Nightly News has 10 million viewers. So, Rather's news show has 6 million less viewers than NBC Nightly News, but Rather still has twice the number of viewers (2 million more)than Bill O' Reilly's show on on the much vaunted Fox News. So, in my opinion Rather's rating may not have been as bad as some would say. In addition, I think pay come from the amount a person brings in from advertisers.
