Missing Cemetery Corpse May Be Linked To Witchcraft
Police: Some Believe Stolen Skull Grants Powers

A body dug up and removed from a graveyard in New Hampshire may have been snatched by people who practice witchcraft, according to police.

"We believe it's something other than someone digging (the body) up to steal jewelry," Lt. Darren Remillard said.

Investigators said the 1820 grave of Sarah Symonds was dug up at the Bible Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro on Halloween night.

Police said some believe that if a skull is stolen on Halloween night, it will grant powers to the owner.
