Let me think about it for a while.

When I was a kid, back in the early nineteen-sixties in the UK which was then still to a degree (post-war) socialist - to the extent that I was the first in my family be be able to receive a good grammar-school and then university education (no fees, if your folks couldn't pay), there was certainly a lot of attention paid to what we kids in school ate, and how we exercised...
