9. America's image was tarnished before we had sympathy capital
It should not take long to guess what America's image is abroad, if all of its spending goes towards its military.

America's beacon of democracy public image is probably only believed by Americans who never been out of the country.

An effort to clean up America’s image after years of sacrificing its citizens for military power will be like using a public relations firm to clean up a mafia Don's image.
