Regarding Scotty's motivations
Advertisements [?]
Some people are wondering why Scott came out now with his book, and I've thought a little about that, with the following conclusion.

He didn't want to die. That's it: plain and simple.

If he had let anything slip from his tell-all book, how much longer would he have been allowed to live by the administration and friends? He accidentally gets run over or suicided, or some other neat murder, and the publisher gets whacked as well. It won't be the first time someone who has many secrets is killed, and everything swept under the proverbial rug.

He had to wait to make sure it all hit the presses, and landed on shelves everywhere before he could talk about it.

Now, the administration can try to discredit him, try as they might, there are going to be still a lot of people who are going to know it's all true.

I would say that he is still trying to cover his own ass, but at least now if he is "accidentally" killed, there is no doubt where the finger will be pointing at that time.
