The Bet I placed with a Republican I talk with daily

I work in a grocery store as receiver and each day have a bit of a political discussion with one of the delivery drivers. He is a solid social conservative Republican and supported Huckabee in the primaries (I was a DK guy). We jab each other in a friendly way and when things get a bit too heated (which they do from time to time) we shift back to just discussing the process and background things as we both need to be civil and actually do like one another.

So Saturday after the Palin announcement I placed my election bet with him (the loser buys the other the soft drink of their choice).

My bet with him and my prediction for the election is Obama wins 50 States. This is not based upon policy, campaign contributions or great oratory, but on primary turnout (reasoning that people don't vote in the primary not to vote in the general and in many states Obama or HRC individually had a greater vote than the entire Republican slate of candidates).

He offered to spot me 4 states, but I am sticking with my original bet.
