It is sooooo big, they had to move the rally out of an airport hanger to a civic center that holds many more people than they would ever get! Woohoo! Go Palin! You can overfill an airport hanger!!! Woohoo!!!

Palin Power: Base motivator

How big, still, is Sarah Palin among the GOP base?

Her rally in Pensacola Tuesday had to be moved from an airport hangar to the local civic center to accomodate the crowd. The civic center seats 10,000.

It's this kind of enthusiasm, not to mention antipathy toward Obama, that will ensure Republicans come out in droves in red bulwarks like the Florida panhandle. Such turnout is key as it helps the GOP pile up large margins to offset more Democratic-leaning parts of the state.

ALSO: Palin's Ft. Myers-area rally tomorrow had to be moved to a sports arena because of the anticipated crowd.
