The survey, conducted between April 30 and June 1 by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, measured the political knowledge of 3,612 U.S. adults.
Participants were asked to

(1)name the controlling party of the U.S. House of Representatives,
(2)the U.S. secretary of state and
(3)Great Britain's prime minister.

18% answered all 3 correctly. 50% answered #1 correctly, 42% answered #2 correctly, 30% answered #3 correctly.
