11. I'm thinking it may be all of our backyards
Especially with this Canadian info...doubt it has leapfrogged the majority of the US (from Mexico up to Canada).

As someone who works in a TX healthcare setting (for HIV+ people) that cares for a LOT of Hispanics (many with close ties to Mexico), it's caught my attention. Especially the comment I saw on the BBC website from a medical person who said that 2 of his (intern) co-workers who had gotten vaccinated died within a few days of getting this. WTF is going on?????
I'll be anxious to see if my facility adds on "swine flu" to their testing of people who come in with flu like symptoms. Right now we do the rapid flu test, give them the medicine if they test postive and send them on their way...or if they are too sick, send them to the hospital.

Browsing thru the sites that I have found, one of the concerns seems to be how Mexico had huge public gatherings for Easter/religious celebrations not long ago...which means this thing may have had those opportunities to already spread quite quickly thru an extra large number of people who were gathered in close quarters...all before the news broke about the swine flu existing.
