this is my response because until we have a cogent and true plan, and the insurance companies can be made to be fair... then I do not believe anyone should be forced into the system. This does not mean that I do not support some sort of mandate EVER... it means that I believe that until we fix the problems with the system, and ensure that people actually have choices (re: a true public option) then it would be too burdensome to people to make them buy into the system. And it would give insurance companies too much leverage until such happened.
