You're doing it yourself. For you, it's US, and THEM. For "them", it's the same way. From their perspective, it's US, and THEM. You're doing nothing more than what the poster stated in #8.

I've known highly educated people who couldn't think their way over a five foot wall. I used to teach with an english lit major who couldn't think her way out of an open paper bag. On the other hand, I know a successful contractor in So. Cal. who does all the math necessary to bid on multi-million dollar jobs in his head in practically the blink of an eye.

I'm curious what would make those who have an education pidgeonhole those that don't.
