of the plant workers the core would have melted down. Then a lot of people would have died. The potential is there and it is silly to pretend it isn't when there are safer ways to obtain power. Would you drive a Toyota now? They used to be very reliable cars. Then they went to the new computer driven technology. New technology does not equate with safety. It is simply newer.

Also, don't forget the giant mutant sponges around San Onofre. They come for people who do not believe nuclear power can be harmful while they are sleeping and dreaming of pink mushroom clouds. Splop,splop, splop, squish.......:evilgrin:
