ADDED: In the pre-WWI Imperial German Army officer's cadet training corps, there really was a command,
"Ready, SLEEP", at which point the barrack Sergeant would leave, knowing that all the cadets were officially sleeping - On their backs with both hands above the blanket, the official sleeping position of Imperial German Army Officers' Corps Cadets at that time...
