Crayola unhappy about parody video thanking tea partiers

No, that wasn’t really a Crayola honcho thanking tea party activists for their patronage.

It was the self-styled satirical group The Full Ginsburg, putting in its one-minute-11-second online video dig at the grassroots conservatives.

Crayola, a subsidiary Kansas City’s Hallmark Cards Inc., wasn’t chuckling.

“We’ve received a lot of calls, e-mail messages and postings from consumers regarding the video, which we did not create,” Crayola spokesman Eric Zebley said in a statement Wednesday. “Many of those consumers told us they thought that we created it and they were offended by it.”
