It's just the way our planetary economy functions nowadays...it could be changed but the people with the power to change it have no incentive to do that. Nobody pays any attention to emails at least those directed at policy, that's just wasting bandwidth. It's ALMOST to the point that nobody in the established structure even cares about a hand-delivered-return receipt requested First Class letter that doesn't give them a virtual blowjob (and make no mistake, they get a lot of those)

Be honest...how many people do you know personally who would actually stop buying gas for their car if all the local stations were owned by Big Companies? I don't think I know any...

Sure, the gov can kill off corporations...like they did to Bell Tele 40 years ago, I suppose. As long as people work for or invest in them, they will come back just like the hockey masked demon in those
movies...
