From my local fish wrap:

Couple has baby No. 14

Yes, the children are all theirs. None of them are adopted, and none are from a previous marriage.

But Don and Kelly Keller are not worried – even with Kelly headed home today with baby No. 14.

“The kids are planned,” said Kelly, a lifelong Council Bluffs resident. “There’s never an unplanned baby.”

Josslyne Claire was born Thursday at 1:39 p.m. at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital after about two hours of labor, she said. Josslyne makes 10 girls and four boys. They range in age from 2 days to 20 years. Two of the girls are 14-year-old twins. All of the children have been born at Mercy, and all but one were delivered by Dr. Jorge Garcia-Padial. Dr. Jorge Sotolongo delivered the other one, because Garcia-Padial was on his way back from a funeral.

“Actually, I had three miscarriages, so it could have been 17,” Kelly said. “We really haven’t had any complications. I had two C-sections.”
