The first car I ever drove was a 77 Corolla. I put 190K miles on it before we put it out of its misery. It was one of the most trustworthy and dependable cars I've ever had.

I live in Japan now and am grateful that there are so many reasonably priced Japanese models available that working class people can afford, and that get great gas mileage.

More than you can say for the overpriced, padded-priced, gas-guzzling US fleet.
