20. The oddest part of this is the idea of how wildly low American tv news has fallen
from its original model, and the years and years of notable American television journalists, many of whom had been distinguished print journalists earlier who moved to tv.

It's hard to live with the idea this is the medium which used to be the home of actual reporters who did honest, respectable, dignified work informing the American public. Could you actually imagine one of them squealing "that son of a bitch" during his report? I don't THINK so. They would have never considered it.

Temper tantrums, trying to force a political agenda/spin down anyone's throat would have NEVER been even remotely entertained. Too childish, too shabby. Third rate altogether.
