3. I'm not so sure of that--never underestimate the stupidity of the American people.
Romney is slick as seal shit on an iceberg. He looks enough like Reagan to get the nostalgia for Ron vote and has never met an issue that he would not change positions on in a heartbeat.

Maybe the Republican base sees through him now but by the general election most of them will be on board.

Democrats wished for Reagan to get the nomination too--sometimes it's not good to get what you wish for.
