6. I know what you say....we needed a third party long ago...but they end up as
throwing elections so they aren't popular. But, I'm not one of those Nader haters who blame him for "Selection 2000." One might as well blame all those Buchanan voters who got the bogus votes in FLA that even Buchanan said he was sure he didn't win. The BLAME for that election goes to the Bushies and the Supremes who had it all FIXED...whether Nader came in or not.

Anytime voices speak up they are trounced by both parties. Look at Kucinich....if Edwards really wanted CHANGE he'd join up with Kucinich and do a real THIRD WAY...not that "Third Way" that's being touted where a Dem and Repug run together which is just a new step to getting rid of our Constitution by putting in two "Hacks" from both parties who will compromise even more than the give aways we've already seen.

I have hope that the Netroots have started the way to a third party or a real third way that brings back LABOR (working people in America ...white collar, blue collar, service industry...and all the rest") under a huge tent that will work to restore a balance in our system. We have another Gilded Age that needs crusaders to bring reforms and to break up the Monopolies.

I guess it has to get so much worse before the reforms that are needed can take shape with masses of support. We folks out here should be proud for being at the beginning of this...as bleak as it looks to us now...it's because we are finally realizing what we are really up against...from OUR OWN. We didn't know that until our Dems took over House and Senate and then told us "it still isn't enough" when the crimes go on pages in legalize as to what they CAN DO, NOW...if they had the will to do it. They don't and that's the problem. But, at least now we know it and don't live in fantasy that getting a Dem President in will suddenly restore what Bush Crime Family and Cohorts have worked decades on taking away from us.

I'm hopeful...but it's too long out for me to feel good about it. But, there will be folks who will see the progess...and that's what has to be worked towards...
