6. Hard to say.
At this point, there does not appear to be evidence that he has a serious and persistent mental illness that is treatment-resistant. There are some reports which, if true, indicate that he was scheduled to appear in court to answer for anti-social behaviors, and in that context, his curious manner of seeking treatment has a peculiar flavor.
