Our primary is so darned late I never expected it to be of any importance at all. Not many delegates but it would seem even a few makes a difference this year. I still expect the state to go red come Nov because the GOP in the heavily-populated eastern panhandle is well organized and well funded. You would think that all the D.C. commuters who have moved out here for the cheap real estate would vote Dem but they are VERY neocon, unfortunately. Their sheer numbers now cancel out the heavily Dem areas like Charleston and Huntington.
