for letting me be me even though we differed on so many ideological, philosophical and religious issues. Thanks for proof reading my M.Phil thesis and telling me that you were proud of me. Thanks for telling me so often that loved and respected me and most of all thanks for telling me you weren't feeling too well on Mother's Day 1994. Your tone told me that you were really sick, so I dropped everything and flew to big sisters and spent three lovely weeks with you. When you died that July, those precious three weeks helped to complete a lovely circle of our lives.

As hubby laughs at the meticulous way in which I pay all bills by the 25th of every month, I thank you.
As I repeat lines you used, I think of you.
As I wash our combs and brushes every Saturday morning, I remember you.
As I look in the mirror, I see you.

Thanks Mom. I wish you were here so I could give you a hug.


Oh and flvegan, thanks for bringing tears to my eyes this Mothers' Day. :grouphug:
