shopping during a bad time, like snack or nap time. It would be unfair to my child (not to mention the other shoppers) to refuse to allow him to eat a small box of animal crackers since he has no control over when one of us has to take him with us. I am sorry that apparently bothers some so much. But then, I do always pay.

I would never let my child eat any of the fresh fruits and veggies, though. I've never been able to understand people who walk through the store eating grapes before they've been washed.
