61. Ii WANT TO POINT OUT!
This is an important DOT to connect!
Based on the rejection of me, for an AP ipsos poll via random call, the day before supertuesday: BECAUSE I WAS OVER 65 years old,
3 of these 4 PATRIOTS, opinion was REJECTED by AP ipsos, ALL 3 over 65!
We need to SPREAD THE WORD, that the polls are MANIPULATED. NOT TRULY REPRESENTATIVE!
The Oldest BOOMER IS ONLY 62 years old! They ( polls) are eliminating the opinion of, the entire population who grew up DURING WWII with rationing, the satisfaction of "winning" a GOOD war, against evil forces...............that was MUCH MORE LIBERAL than todays cross section,
in a country that pulled TOGETHER,and even with the pain and tragic loss of a war, had the dignity, liesure time, and sufficiency for EVERYBODY, to behave like courteous, enlightened, civil human beings!
We were tragically unaware of the EVIL ONES lurking, those who tried to eliminate Pres. FDR, and who succeeded in eliminating JFK!

Apply what we know today to that time.................
My formative first 6 years were short on sugar, & sweets, it being rationed during the war. I developed a taste for salty/ malty ( pretzels)
snacks. At the end of the war.......the entire country indulged in a sugar rush, lining the pockets of Uncle Herbie Walker, who owned a sugar plantation in Cuba! Until Castro seized it and nationalized it! OF course we HATE CASTRO! It's not so much that he's a communist, as. ..We're still trying to get even! Given the Bush family's involvement in Government, GHWB, 1976 CIA, 1980-88 VP, 1989-92 President, 2001-08 W pRes.
this had=s frormed our Foreign Policy towards CUba.
Meanwhile if you've ever had a kid who ate too much candy.......you are familiar with the sugar rush syndrome!
The parents of the late 40's were just so damned glad to be alive, to have won the war, were far more indulgent of their kids than many other times in history........They also had the benefit of GI housing and education bills, that gave them an edge and a little more to pass on to the kids. Whereas OUR Fathers had weathered the depression, paid for their own houses and college educations if they had one.
I have a theory that the Boomers were mass traumatized by the assignation of JFK. They were in adolescence......critical years, just making the connection with society at large beyond their families; as opposed to me an adult better able to process tragedy, or my kids who were too young to be impacted as strongly, ( their immediate world was still intact)
This combined with the futile attempt at social change, against the evil ones, I believe is responsible for the wholesale defection to self
greed & materialism.
PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED BY MY THEORY IF IT DOESN'T FIT YOU!thank God not everybody in a demigraphic slice FITS THE PROFILE!
