The very justification (however logical it sounds on the surface) is itself rooted in racism

It was "These people don't look like us. We can't understand them. They must be a threat."

Don't you think that's kind of like what they said about the Jews in Europe? Jews have their own language that they speak in their "secret societies" (we usually call them synagogues). You know, people might have figured the Jews could be plotting against them and must be locked up...

Don't you think we do there's a tendency now to do that with Muslims?

We fear what we can't comprehend. It's understandable, but still racism.
