until I could not do it any more. Sure, it is grand for a few (the least impared), but it is torture for the thousands and thousands who fall short due to a more serious physical or mental disability. It is just heartless to pretend that these "special" olympics is anything more than imposing on the most physically and mentally challenged persons (most of them children), a special competition that is really meant to test ones physical and mental competancy in competition. Special olympics is a feel good event for the guilty able bodied...it is not for the feel good of the disabled.
